The building that houses the B&B since 2003 is located in the village of Diano di SCIGLIANO, it was built at the beginning of the 1800s.
From 1933 to 1992 a bakery with a wood-burning oven, operating on the warehouse floors, served bread to the whole town of Scigliano and the nearby area.
Since 2003 in these rooms that are located on the ground floor on the public road and which have been recovered, arranged and adapted to rooms with bathroom, we have decided to open our B&B.
The ROOMS with stone walls then plastered have a pleasant climate during the summer season also supported by air coolers.
A TERRACE with a beautiful view of the valley below is at your disposal for breakfast and sunbathing on hot days (solarium).
Thanks to the strategic position of SCIGLIANO, between the sea (Tyrrhenian) and the mountains (Sila), you can enjoy a pleasant natural climate from May to October.
Welcome to our facility! We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to enjoy our wooden terrace with a roofed veranda, which provides a splendid view of the green valley below. You can enjoy your breakfast in this unique environment, choosing from a wide range of sweet and savory foods.
Furthermore, the terrace is a perfect place to relax by reading a book or simply sheltering from the sun on hot days.

Our Bed and Breakfast is located in the heart of Calabria, in Scigliano, between the sea and the mountains. The building that houses the B&B was built at the beginning of the 1800s and is located in the Diano district of Scigliano. This place has an interesting history, as from 1934 to 1993 a wood-burning oven, located on the ground floor of the building, provided bread to the entire town of Scigliano and the surrounding areas.
We have renovated the interior of the building and now the B&B is located in this historic and welcoming place. A terrace with a view of the valley below is at your disposal for breakfast or to enjoy the sun on hot days.
Scigliano is a hilly town that stretches from a minimum altitude of 200 meters above sea level (Roman Bridge 2nd century BC, under the Lupia hamlet) to a maximum of 1,000 meters (Agrifoglio hamlet in the heart of Presila). Here you can admire the uncontaminated Mediterranean flora and fauna that includes species such as the buzzard, cuckoo, great spotted woodpecker, marten, fox, and badger. Numerous trails wind through the surrounding woods where you can find natural springs of fresh water and picnic areas.
The urban area of Scigliano consists of nine hamlets, many of which preserve their ancient medieval village with convents, churches, palaces, and houses.
Scigliano is a perfect destination for an alternative, ecological, and cultural vacation. Easily accessible are the cities of Cosenza and Catanzaro, the Sila National Park with its lakes (Ampollino, Arvo, and Cecita) and villages (Longobucco, Santa Severina), and to the north, the Pollino National Park with its beautiful villages (Morano, Civita, Altomonte) and canyons (Raganello). Not far away are also seaside towns such as Pizzo, Tropea, Scilla, Amantea, and Fiumefreddo, with their picturesque ancient villages overlooking the sea. In addition, from Scigliano it is possible to take a trip to the Aeolian Islands, between Calabria and Sicily, by ferry from Vibo Marina or Tropea (A3 towards Reggio, exit Pizzo).
